Pet portraits
“Rozemarijn is the absolute embodiment of professionalism. She is so unbelievably talented, every single wrinkle and sparkly eye she paints will feel as though your pets are looking directly at you. Our 5 dogs portrait must have been her biggest one to date and we are SO extremely grateful to have our late pets immortalized by her beautifully handcrafted portrait. She has been outstanding with customer service, responding nearly immediately and always with attention to detail and constant progress updates. This truly made us feel part of her journey, her friendly demeanour allowed us to be open and direct with communication, she took every note and applied it perfectly (not that we had many notes either). Her works speaks for itself, what you cannot see through a photo or video, is the feel of the texture, the 3D glint on the eyes of your pets are felt as you run your fingers over the portrait. The deep detail and layering work will have you feel your pet's soul leaping off the canvas. We cannot begin to show our thanks and appreciation for this exceptional homage, it brings us to tears daily as it hangs proudly above our mantle. Rozemarijn is compassionate, kind, attentive and customer service minded. She'll constantly check on your views and change requirements throughout the process and she'll even be able to recreate an image through reconstruction from poor quality and half detailed images (I would highly recommend you share the best quality photos that you have, for the best results) - but she was instrumentally challenged with some of our photos from pets who passed away years ago, before improved camera quality, and yet she still managed to get every single detail right and visually fix the pieces that were missing. I will definitely be commissioning more work and I will happily share her details to all my loved ones and recommend her to anyone looking for paintings or plushies. “Paar maand geleden via een vriendin bij Rozemarijn terecht gekomen. Stond al heel lang in twijfel om iets te laten maken van onze 3 lieve poezen samen. Door het prachtige werk van Rozemarijn heb ik de stap gezet. Ik wist al precies wat ik wou een prachtige tekening van ze alle 3 samen met de oudste in het midden. Rozemarijn gaf mij super snel een voorbeeld en ik was meteen verkocht. De jongste poes keek net even anders dan de andere 2 dit gaf ik aan en al snel kreeg ik het perfecte plaatje! 🤩 Rozemarijn stuurde elke keer haar stapjes tijdens het maken van de tekening. Al bij de schets zag ik dat het precies werd zoals ik had gehoopt! Tot het helemaal af was werd ik elke keer weer verrast Het eindresultaat was echt prachtig en het is precies hoe ze alle 3 zijn hun lieve maar ondeugende blikken waar wij zo ontzettend gek op zijn🥰 Zelfs mijn Vriend was enthousiast en had niet verwacht dat het zo op de werkelijkheid zal lijken! 😊 Kort om wij zijn enorm blij en Rozemarijn heel erg dankbaar voor haar prachtige werk!”

“In de afgelopen tijd heb ik 4 portretten besteld bij Rozemarijn. En dat leverde niet alleen bijzonder mooie tekeningen op, ik heb genoten van het hele proces. Na mijn aanvraag ontving ik al snel een schets. Heel bijzonder om in de eerste versie al mijn katten te herkennen. Rozemarijn stuurde meerdere updates. En na afloop kreeg ik zelfs een filmpje met het tekenproces. Mijn katten komen in het echt niet zo dicht bij elkaar. Heel fijn om ze, dankzij Rozemarijn, samen te kunnen zien. “Last year, Rozemarijn came into my life at a time when we just had to say goodbye to our dog very suddenly and far too soon. I discovered her work on Instagram, and I was immediately struck by her unique art style. After some lovely communication and her thoughtful input, she created a beautiful painting of our Taffy, a cherished and tangible keepsake that means a lot to us.
In July of that same year, we found out we were expecting our first child. For me, it was immediately clear: the birth announcement card had to be created by Rozemarijn. It was a first for us, and for her too, which made it all the more special. Once again, we wanted something truly touching, in which our pets also had a place, because they are an integral part of our family.
Communication with Rozemarijn is always incredibly pleasant. She thinks along with you, keeps her promises and keeps you involved with regular updates that only make you more enthusiastic. And then there was the end result: the birth announcement card for our Donna. Unique, personal and created with so much feeling, truly a card like no one else has. 💓
The design now hangs in our home as a painting, and it sits on the closet of our loved ones as a birth card. Yet another work of art with deep meaning. So special. I can wholeheartedly recommend Rozemarijn to anyone looking for something unique, personal, something that touches the heart and that you will carry with you forever.”
